A report should make a product easier to understand, not replace careful reading. We identify the issuing laboratory and provide the original report supplied for the individual piece.

What is included
Each ARIELLE.R Akoya piece is supplied with its original report document for that individual item. The exact document and the information it records depend on the item submitted and the laboratory examination. The report supplied with your piece is the authoritative record of what was examined; ARIELLE.R does not extend a report beyond its written scope. If reports matter to your decision, contact us about the specific piece before ordering.
About NGL
NOBEL GEM GRADING LABORATORY is an independent gemological laboratory in Osaka. ARIELLE.R is a customer of the laboratory, not an affiliate or official partner, and does not use the laboratory name to imply an endorsement of the brand.
Additional laboratory reports
Depending on the piece, an additional report may be requested from an independent laboratory such as PSL, GIA, or GGC. Additional reports are not included in the standard price; laboratory fees, handling, and extra processing time apply. Availability, price, timing, and document type are confirmed before you approve the request. Reports from different institutions use their own terminology and should not be treated as automatically equivalent.
Understanding Hanadama
Hanadama is a report-based designation for qualifying Akoya pearls under the issuing Japanese laboratory standards, not a universal retail grade. ARIELLE.R uses the word Hanadama only when the individual product is accompanied by a laboratory report applying that designation.
Before you purchase
Product photographs may include an illustrative report sample. The report number for an individual item is not displayed online, and supplied reports are not represented as searchable in an online database. A sample demonstrates format only and does not certify another product.

Your original report
The original report is packed with the corresponding item. Keep them together: a missing report cannot simply be reprinted, as the piece normally needs re-examination. Fees, shipping, insurance, and processing time may apply.
What a report does not promise
Unless expressly stated, a report is not a guarantee of resale value, an appraisal of replacement value, a warranty against wear, proof of partnership with the laboratory, or permission to apply its findings to a different item.
